All I Want for Christmas - ferreum
It was Tony’s turn to stare at the present Steve had gotten— or rather, made— for him. The constellations lined up perfectly, and he had a feeling they were scaled to perfection. He held it up to look at it from every angle, absolutely mesmerized by Steve’s attention to detail.
“This is…oh my god, Steve. This is amazing. Did you make this yourself?” He asked, speaking quietly. “It’s— it’s beautiful, it’s…wow.”
He turned his head up to look at him then, a look of sheer wonder in his eyes and a silly grin on his face. “Thank you. I love it, it’s perfect. I love it. I love you.”
Steve was completely delighted with Tony’s reaction, infinitely pleased that he’d made a good choice with his gift. He nodded a bit at the question, his expression turning rather sheepish.
“Well–watching you work with metal and everything, the way you tinker and stuff, I guess I sort of caught the bug for it. I wanted to give it a try.” he explained. “I actually had a lot of fun making it, I can see why you like building stuff so much."
Now it was his turn to pull Tony closer, pressing a kiss to his temple. "I love you, too, Tony. I’m glad you like it.”
