Eeee! This is kinda exciting I’ve never really had a chance to dabble much into the romantic aspect of these two.<3 As much as I love their friendship, I do like the idea of them being together!
Who would be the big spoon?
I think they could easily get away with alternating? Maybe depending on who wants/needs what. I can easily see Bucky initially insisting on big spoon bc he’s a little more used to being the bigger one and being like ‘nuhuh there’s no way I’m gonna be your little spoon’ but then he has like a bad day or something and it’s exactly what he needs and from then on he’s more open about switching back and forth. Maybe?

Steve. This always has been and always will be.
Do they have nicknames for each other?
Bucky is a nickname does that count? Then of course there’s the punk/jerk thing which I am unspeakably fond of. I can see Bucky sarcastically using cheesy terms of endearment to get on Steve’s nerves but then during like special moments he’d use subtler ones in a more sincere way does that make sense.
What happened when they met each other’s parents?
Ummmmm there is no MCU canon that I know of on this subject and I’m not really familiar with the comic canon? But I figure that Bucky knew Steve’s mom since my headcanon involves him being around long before her death.
How do they apologise after an argument?
I guess it depends on the severity of the argument? Some they’ll end up joking about/laughing off and others they’ll be sincere about and apologize like grownups.
What would they be like as parents?
I do not know if Bucky would want kids. I sort of get the feeling he might not? Don’t get me wrong I’m no expert on Bucky here, it’s just a vibe I get. They are not a couple I see ever having kids.
What sort of gifts do they get for each other?
Steve is the same as he is with anyone else as far as gifts go, and I can see Bucky giving him gag gifts like old Captain America merchandise or tights or something bc he’s a wench sometimes.
Who gets jealous easiest?
Hmmmmmmmm maybe Steve? Or maybe Bucky. Maybe Steve.
Who is the most adventurous?
I’m not sure about now but Pre-War was definitely Bucky.
Who is the most protective?
Honestly? I think Bucky. Bc Bucky was there when Steve needed protecting. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s still hard for him to remember that he’s not that frail little guy that needs someone with him so he doesn’t freeze during the winters anymore.
What would they have been like as childhood sweethearts?
Exactly the same.
