How would that person know who the winter soldier is if it wasn’t made into something like a movie or even made into news article? I don’t imagine that it’s common knowledge. But I could be wrong since I never read the comics.
What I mean is, maybe after he’s experienced the events it was made into a movie thus why people would ask Steve who the Winter Soldier was.
