I feel like

one of the worst thoughts a Steve role player/fan/etc can possibly have

is the thought of him outliving everyone

Definitely gonna outlive the 100% human people

Heaven only knows what’ll happen to Thor in the long run, especially considering how 100% human Jane is.

Bruce will probably live for a long time, he might stick it out with Steve. 

But everyone else, people he meets, befriends, develops bonds and connections with.

He’s going to meet them, see them grow old and die, then have to do it all over again.

And again.

Pretty much indefinitely.

Until something comes along strong enough to kill him. 

The serum created a human body that was too efficient. Able to repair itself constantly, never showing any signs of age, the only indication being in a weariness he has to work harder and harder to hide with every passing generation.

And he never forgets. 

No matter how old he gets, he’ll always remember everyone. And I bet that’s the hardest part.
